Samhain is a 2019 horror game developed by Puppet Combo. The game can be downloaded from Puppet Combo's Patreon[1].
Synopsis[]
"It's your favorite holiday. Take your brothers out trick-or-treating but stay on the trail. And don't talk to strangers!"
The game takes place on Halloween night and follows Alice, an older sister who was told by her mother to take her younger brothers trick or treating. She also warns her not to talk to strangers and to stick to the trail. Alice and her two brothers go trick or treating and collect some treats. Suddenly, one brother disappears, but they assume he returned home since he was scared so they continue trick or treating. On their way, they stumble across a scarecrow who encourages them to go off the trail and that they will find lots of candy. They ignore the scarecrow's advice and continue. Not long after the second brother also disappears. but Alice continues through the graveyard and reaches a dead end. Against her mother's warnings, she goes off-trail into the woods and stumbles across a bonfire surrounded by spears. She throws all of the treats in the fire, which results in a small earthquake, followed by corpses rising up from their graves and the four skeletons riding skeleton horses across the landscape. As all that is happening, a text is displayed:
The ritual was complete
The end came quickly as the four horsemen galloped
across the autumn sky and the seas turned into poison.
As fire rain down from above and the dead rose from their graves
it was the final Samhain.

- The soundtrack was composed by Clement Panchout and MXXN.
- "Samhain" is Irish for November, however "Oíche Shamhna" is Irish for Halloween, literally translating as "Night of November."
